We understand that keeping children entertained can be a challenge, however it does not have to be. With a combination of the right ideas and tailored activities - creating the ultimate experience for all of the children attending your event is as easy as choosing your theme and package, then leaving the rest to us! 


You see, we believe that to truly provide children with experiences that they will enjoy and be motivated to participate in, you must think and even behave like a child. After all, adults can be a little boring… *yawn*.  So, what do we do that is a little different? 


Well…


  

To start with, we tailor the games and activities to the various ages of the children attending your event.  It is not uncommon for toddlers and small children to be at a party with their older siblings and often we find that the older children are no longer interested in playing games of ‘pass the parcel’ and ‘musical chairs’. We therefore come up with a range of games and activities that will appeal to the children, no matter their age by mixing and matching traditional games with more modern games that involve thinking, problem solving, working together and igniting their imagination.

For school vacation care children, the age range is often as diverse as the children’s interests – coupled with the challenge that the children are typically spending large amounts of time together; it can be even more of a challenge to come up with ways that encourage participation.  And to some extent, it is no different for adults…


Many of us experience working in organisations that focus heavily on team building, mentoring and developing leadership capabilities. Significant amounts of research and financial investment has gone into proving the value of utilising these activities to meet organisational objectives. But what about our children? What if they too could benefit from the types of activities usually reserved to aid adults build better working relationships with each other? Well, why not?


Exclusive to our school vacation care programs, PTB have designed a number of age appropriate team building activities aimed at assisting children to learn more about themselves and each other. It is our view that the more children discover about themselves, the more likely they are to engage positively with each other both within the vacation care, and broader school environments.


All of our games and activities are designed with ‘fun’ as the foremost priority. They encourage the children to come together and work collaboratively to problem solve and overcome various challenges to meet the objectives of the game. For example we look at ways of involving the older children to support and guide the younger participants – whether it be by leading a group of younger children through an activity, obstacle course or helping them to build a pirate ship! We guarantee that the older children will not be left out when we arrive to party!

Looking for the no fuss / no frills kids party entertainment option?  We can provide this too! 


If you are needing the children to be entertained for 1.5 hours purely with games and entertainment and no specified party theme, catering or styling, simply click the ‘Entertain The Kids’ button, let us know how many children you are anticipating, the age range together with your proposed date and we will send you some options that can be mixed and matched to best suit the interests of your guests. All ‘Entertain the Kids’ options are priced at $250, run for 1.5 - 2 hours and come with everything you need for the children to enjoy.

All of our entertainment packages come with arts and crafts activities and all materials supplied to ensure that the children have something wonderful to take home as a keepsake post the event.  


We also supply child appropriate furniture (tables and chairs – where required) included in the package price, and we even provide age appropriate prizes for all of our games too!


And most importantly! All of our onsite service providers are insured and have valid Working With Children Checks (WWC) which are available for you to review upon request.

Brim-filled with whimsical fun and a fully catered banquet table worthy of any queen of hearts – the children will have fun creating their own ‘mad hats’ and decorating tea cups as well as trying to figure their way of the many bizarre obstacle courses and games that the Mad Hatter has designed just to test their ability to problem solve and work together in teams.

Imagine using your hands, feet and whole body on a life-sized canvass to create your very own artwork with a multitude of colour paints, chalks and assorted other colourful items. 


The result? 


An awesome canvass to be put on display in the classroom, or lots of individual canvasses for the children to take home with them after the fun. Now there’s a day they won’t soon forget!

Grab your shipmates and build your ship to sail the seven seas whilst plundering the sweet treasures to be found wthin your pirate ship banquet table!  Aharrr!
