Choosing your venue is an important consideration mainly due to the intricate and elaborate set up of our event spaces. They really are truly special, and something we pride ourselves on creating just for you.
Whilst we do on occasion service outdoor areas, we have found that too often environmental factors (such as the wind and hot sun) play havoc with the party decorations and food items (picture melted chocolate in the lolly jars and paper plates, napkins and party bags flying off the tables).
To help with choosing the option that is best for your children’s party; we have put together a few helpful hints and tips.
When choosing Pop the Balloon! to create your ideal party space, we highly recommend opting for an indoor space as a first option. If partying at home is not possible, there are many council operated community halls in your local area that provide fantastic access for your guests. They are clean, safe and come with all the essential facilities to ensure your party experience is the best it can be. They often hire out hourly and can be as little as $30* per hour. If considering an outdoor option for your children’s party, keep in mind that the wind and hot sun will have an impact on the success of your event, not to mention rain! The best outdoor options are in a protected area – away from the wind in particular – so that the effort that goes into creating your unique party space will still be there, ready and waiting for your guests to arrive. It also ensures that the party setting looks just as breathtaking as when we first set it up.
Pop the Balloon! Children’s Parties and Events do have marquee’s for hire which can provide basic protection from mild weather if your preferred outdoor location does not provide this. Feel welcome to ask for this option at the time of booking.
Community parks and public spaces can be a great alternative to partying at home, however as mentioned, it’s worth keeping in mind the challenges that come with them.
Public spaces are also worth a special mention, particularly with the more popular parks as there are no guarantees that your preferred ‘spot’ will be available. Often your preferred area is the same as everyone else’s!

That is why we are proud to be a registered COVID compliant business. All of our staff and onsite suppliers are fully vaccinated and we have updated our cleaning products to hospital grade disinfectants. We are also pleased to offer hand sanitisers for guests that are 100% natural, non alcoholic and kind to skin.

We take the health and safety of your family and guests as well as our staff very seriously and have completed the COVID 19 hygiene training and upgraded our already stringent cleaning practices in line with government guidelines.

ABOUT OUR 'HEAD HONCHO' / LEAD PARTY STYLIST
Rochelle is a highly capable business professional with over 5.5 years as children's party and event stylist and 20 years experience in corporate Australia.
Throughout her busy career, Rochelle has coordinated and delivered a number of large events from budget dinners to conferences, gala dinners, workshops and road shows to name a few. It is the professionalism and sophistication demanded in these fast paced environments that enables her to bring your special event to life with minimal effort on your part.
Complimenting her corporate life was her creative and artistic endeavors as a dancer and dance teacher who was privileged to work with some of the best entertainment organisations in the business.
Her biggest inspiration came from working alongside Disney Australia where she learnt what it takes to bring the 'magic' and capture the hearts and imaginations of every guest. With this Rochelle works tirelessly to ensure that your child's party will linger in their minds long past their special day.
Rochelle is a married mother with three young children, is also a NSW Justice of the Peace and has a valid Working With Children clearance.

‘MAD HATTER'S TEA PARTY’ – from the ‘Signature Party’ range

Wow where do I even start? I was absolutely blown away when I walked into the room for Clare's mad hatter tea party! As was my daughter! Wow! I didn’t have any words! It was absolutely amazing breathtaking! No words can describe how truly perfect it was. It really was Clare's dream come true! One Clare will remember for the rest of her life.
Wow the detail that went into this party was amazing. I can’t even explain it, it truly was breathtaking! The table design was amazing everything a girl could ever dream off. Rochelle had customised everything which made Clare's day even more special. She made customised chocolate bars, bubbles, drinks, and lolly bags which were a big hit. The children loved choosing their own lollies from the lolly buffet and there was so much excitement and laughter when filling up the lolly bags.
From the start to the finish Rochelle made the party experience stress free, relaxing, exciting and definitely one to remember. Wow, I did not need to do anything for the party. Rochelle organised everything even down to the invites, which I must say were absolutely amazing. Not only did she set up a perfect mad hatter tea party that all children loved as they said ‘the best party ever’ but the entertainment with the children was amazing! She entertained 15 children. She had them all laughing and working together. There was a mad hatters hat making, a hat parade wow this was so much fun, finding the lost keys and who could forget the amazing game of croquet. I have never heard so much laughter and so much team work. Rochelle was the most amazing entertaining host I have ever meet!
So many people commented on how fantastic and amazing this setup was! And I couldn’t agree more! I can’t wait for next years party. Rochelle is definitely one I will come back too. She is great! there was lots of communication about what we wanted and she was always keeping us informed in what was happening. I will recommend her to all of my friends.
Thank you for making Clare's day so special. We were so lucky to win the raffle one we will always be grateful for. Thank you for the amazing photos as well. We will treasure these forever!

💯 recommend Rochelle and her creative mind. Rochelle created the most memorable day for my boys combined 1st and 4th Birthday as well as their hair cutting ceremony.
An amazing front Lolly buffet display..100x custom Lolly bags..a beautiful entrance array of balloons..
3x long kiddies table that was an outstanding jungle theme display..as well as catering the decorations and set ups for 150x seated guests..not only that but she entertained the kids as well.
Her attention to details and customising everything from lolly bags, bubble wands, plates, cups and utensils and every single table.
She took all the stress and worry of the event by looking after the decorations, the cake, the entertainment, the hiring of jumping castle and face painters and did such an amazing job.
My guests are still talking about the set up. Highly recommend Rochelle and her team for future events and will definitely be back..
